Texas: Plano Man Takes Aim at Redflex


Plano, TX a suburb on the north side of Dallas-Ft Worth has endured the presence of Redflex red light cameras since 2006.

A Plano resident, Ron Draper, is taking a stand against the obvious scam that is the Redflex system.

Local media is either ignoring the story altogether or is attempting to quash it by stating that the city charter doesn’t allow for the repeal of ordinances (like the one that allows for red light camera use) by citizens’ initiative filed more than 30 days after it was passed. In this case, Australian-based Redflex moved their lobbyists into Plano in 2006 to pitch their money-making scheme.

    Citizens need to educate themselves and stop paying these redlight bandit citations as well as voting the greedy politicians and bureaucrats who had them installed out of office.
