[OPINION] Corrupting “law enforcement” wasn’t enough for Redflex and American Traffic Solutions. It wasn’t enough to hire the same sleazy lobbyist employed by the police unions, tobacco, and TASER. It wasn’t enough to swear on “safety” while intentionally hiding statistics showing their product actually increased accidents (those upcoming lawsuits will be fun to watch).
Likewise, it’s not enough that ATS and Redflex virtually run the courts when it comes to tickets they process. One only needs to visit Mesa or Scottsdale’s municipal courts to see the revolving door between ATS’ high-paid attorney going to battle daily against drivers under a blatantly unconstitutional system of self-incrimination and court-approved extortion.
Think of ATS, Redflex, and the courts which knowingly choose to take part in this fraud as a casino. Since they write the rules, they have the house advantage. This casino is “invitation only” (a fake letter in the mail bearing a false sworn statement), however once invited your participation is mandatory.
Besides the [coerced] participation of this casino’s patrons, there is only one thing that keeps the scam going:
The casino-court shows its greatest weakness when confronted directly about the way it operates, as well as when the illusion of fairness is promptly shredded in the minds of those who still believe in such a system.
Beware. The following video contains such shredding:
In case you’re wondering, the judge is Caryl Parker, who was issued what can only be imagined as a very stern “private warning” for her conduct by the State of Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct.
Perhaps tickets for judicial misconduct should be issued as frequently as photo radar citations.
