Redflex in Paradise Valley: Safety Up in Smoke

Redflex can never be accused of hiring folks who are concerned with safety. Whether it’s drunk driving a scamera van all over Old Town Scottsdale, or leaving batteries next to fire hazards, you get the point.

Now that we are focused on Paradise Valley’s scameras, we thought we’d take a little tour and take some pictures of our own. By now we should expect to see things like this, but it’s always a little bit of a shock. The other pictures taken will get their due, but these were the absolute gems:

1. Redflex Technician is seen smoking while working on electronic equipment. That sounds like a winning combination, right? Nevermind that smoke can and does cause damage to electronics. One has to wonder how well this equipment could work under his care.

2. Smokey didn’t like having his picture taken very much, so he started to video tape us with a flip camera. Take it easy there.

Private company teaches workers to video tape people snapping photos of cameras that are taking video of all motorists passing by.

3. As long as we’re all friends here, we decided to get a close up of Smokey for good measure. Is that a cigarette or mini cigar? Whatever it was probably wasn’t good for the laptop that was sitting on the passenger seat.

Still smokin'

I don’t know about this one…little bit of a stretch. Funny pictures nonetheless🙂

I am however concerned about the 1000 degree heat index that’s inside that box on a 110 degree day. We will have our data by tomorrow.

This one’s a bit out of league.. I’ve smoked around electronics many times with no probs. A little bit of tar & nicotine adds to the flux/solder and helps keep the components stuck in place. I do have a prob when electronics start smokin though… (I know, you non-smokers are probably thinking like ‘ewwwww, gross!’)

    @CameraFraud

You never got back to me in that other thread so I’ll ask again. You claimed “that all their tickets (Redflex)issued from 1997-2008 are still in question due to the admission by Karen Finley that they were operating with falsified FCC documents.”

Aren’t the systems in these pictures (and the majority) of Redflex systems using ground sensors?

With lies like that and bush league posts like this, its getting harder and harder to take anything on this site with more than a grain of salt.

    • LoneWolf says:

Do some research.. you know, use keywords such as redflex fcc violations.. you’ll find the answer. CF doesn’t enforce fcc regulations so why are you confronting CF about it? CF serves to expose corruption among the gov and the scamera companies.. the scam companies aren’t immune to the laws of this country. Why should people have to pay up when the scameras weren’t legally certified by the fcc?

      • Lolz says:

How about you guys do some research and you’ll see that the certefication from the FCC was only needed on the vans which look to only make up around 10% at best of Redflex Systems. The rest of the sites use ground sensors which the FCC has no cocern of.

Of course if you did that you couldn’t spread outrageous lie like “ALL tickets from 97 – 08 are “”in question””

        • I can haz troll??

Don’t worry troll, I’ll be doing a complete write up on this and releasing it Tuesday. You can set your clock to it. I’ll explain the meaning of fraud very clearly.

          Go back and report this!!

          (Remember tuesday shhhhhhh)

Houston’s red light camera program has generated more than $45 million since it hit the streets but the money is not going where it is supposed to go.

What a waste of my time to read this post, and a waste of yours to write it. I think camera fraud is getting bored…..

Leave the guy alone. At least he isn’t on the dole. I am sure he doesn’t come to your place of work and knock dicks out of your mouth.
