76 “Cameras Coming Down…”

…Many, many more to go.

Today we celebrate the deactivation of the DPS/Redflex cameras on Arizona highways, a monumental success for the volunteer-based opponents of automated ticketing.

The message is loud and clear: suspicion-less, 24-hour government
surveillance is unacceptable, especially when the cameras have a negative impact on roadway safety.

We look forward to continuing this momentum moving forward, as we target local municipalities who put profit over safety. We simply won’t rest until all of “The Cameras are Coming Down.”

We ask for your help today by joining us on Facebook, Twitter, or Meetup as we promote true roadway safety.

We promise we won’t rest in exposing the malicious profiteering of Redflex, American Traffic Solutions, and the corrupt politicians who benefit from their money.

Keep it up guys! Don’t let that crap with the statewide petition get you down. If you don’t put a steel toed, spiked boot to the neck of this BEAST and KILL IT ONCE AND FOR ALL, it will only continue to morph uncontrollably!

They think that with everyone focused on 1070 (for good or bad) that we forgot about the cameras.

Every. Fcuking. Week. I have to hear or overhear someone mentioning the the cameras or getting a bill from one. Whether it’s at work, or at the gym, or in a store it makes my blood boil we still have put up with them this long.

New to the site and I’m getting involved this time.

Thumbs up Matt. And that is a reality.

      Look up for:

      Alex Jones.com
Gary Franchi.com for more info, and found out more about corruption.

You will get chills, you will be happy you saw it, you will be scare, you will stand up for you, your kids, and more generations to com.

      God Bless us all.

I do praise the guys that found out of the wrong doing of the camaras. I once paid a ticket and i was pisssssssssssssssssed, I kew money was going down from my packet to some assssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh.

That was in Scottsdale, I worked hard convinving the judge that i was not going as fast as the ticke said. There was no mercy, i fouind out later that Judges are money collectors and they know how much money they need to collect on their shifts, and will treat you bad to get it, is their job.

Justice is not been used in courts anymore. Tgis is why I praised the guys that have work hard to remove the cameras, God bless you guys, and continuo find more wrong doing from our govertment that suppost to protect us, we the people.

      God bless us all!

  2. Concerned Citizen says:

Have you gotten signatures for Arizona from Prescott Valley? They have 2 of them set up one on 69 coming into town and one on Glassford Hill and Long Look Dr! As you wait for the stop light you can watch that camera taking pictures!

    • reason says:

…makin a list, checkin it twice, the volunteers know which towns have been naughty or nice… CameraFRAUD is coming…. to town!

Election time = fun and games!

Paradise Valley suing for the upkeep of one big ass sombrero!

  4. tylers mom says:

LOL at the sombrero.., why did I never hear about this? This is truly a coup and I think it’s great its leaking out so quietly.

Was this on any local media? Whats the story?

  5. Drew says:

So who told Fox10 that “The cameras will still be able to monitor traffic, even though they aren’t flashing speeders.”

    http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/dpp/news/unpopular-radar-cameras-leaving-state-highways

who is monitoring traffic, RedFlex or DPS

  6. photoradarscam says:

IF anyone knows anyone who’s working for the census who is going door-to-door, please send me an email with their email address (and get their permission), I’d like to ask them a few questions for a CameraFraud article. contact@photoradarscam.com

Today is a good day for freedom. The scam has been exposed for what it is. The scamera companies, kangaroo courts and dirty politicians will not be feasting from our wallets. Be afraid, the sheeple are starting to wake up. More scameras will be taken down.

  8. Rita Bernatz says:

What I think is relevant to this situation. On my way to Apache Junction twice I was shot by these RedFlex cameras. Once at SB17Mile Post 221 and once at SB17Mile Post 245. On both instances I was traveling at 77 & 78 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. Here is the crux. I was following at a reasonable distance from any other car and also keeping up with the traffic around me. The one at 221 was on the hill coming down from Sunset Point to Black Canyon City. To my way of thinking this is clearly a speed trap. I don’t think if it were a police car with a human being in it, that I would have been targeted. We in Prescott Valley also have these cameras and I see no problem with them so far. As far as saving lives goes, the people know where and what they look like and slow down only long enough to escape the cameras. The whole thing is an awful joke and an insult to the average citizen.

Hard to enforce a railroad crossing more than the train already does. Good point.

If a LOCOMOTIVE isn’t enough to discourage someone from an illegal crossing, I doubt a camera will.

Well, ATS is busy patrolling people’s homes in Baton Rouge. If anyone has questions regarding this program you can call Irma Plummer in the Mayor’s office 1-225-389-5350.

    • Butihave Nothingto Worryabout says:

We need that here in AZ. PLEASE BEING IT HERE. At least it will force people to clean up their yards.

  11. RubyRed says:

I just want to thank everyone who volunteers at Camerafraud and gives of their time and effort. I also want to thank both Sheriffs of Maricopa and Pinal County. Such great work. ALL You guys make me feel like there’s a possibility that the state will shift to respecting our rights as citizens again….”By the people and for the people”.
I’m very proud to be apart of this movement. Just can’t wait to get back on the highway and see people be more calmed down as they drive instead of having to dodge these scameras.

    • oh my says:

Get ready to deal with the ton of people slamming on their brakes as they spot the abundance of DPS motorbikes doing radar after midnight tonight. See? No difference, despite your complaints about radar vans.
Ashame the vans and camera’s are being shut off tonight, but atleast for those that feel it’s time to get back to nascar mode, these tickets will have bite behind the bark.

      • photoradarscam says:

Oh yes, get ready for the bloodbath! How did we ever survive without cameras? How in the world do the other states survive without cameras on their roads?

      • Butihave Nothingto Worryabout says:

The cameras will be back after the November election, and they will have just as much, if not more, bite then a DPS Patrol.

  12. Joe says:

    Thank you everyone!!

  13. kandaris says:

I’ll drink to that! …not while I’m driving of course…😛
