Napolitano: “Blame Canada”

"I'd like to phone a friend?"

"I'd like to phone a friend?"

Self-proclaimed road-safety expert and former Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano has made an incredulous comment suggesting that the 9/11 hijackers entered the United States from Canada, prompting a Canadian paper to ask: “Can someone please tell us how [the Secretary] got her job?”

Best known back home for her statewide automated ticketing boondoggle, she is now Secretary of Homeland Security. (There’s a phrase regarding the buoyant properties of certain materials and how they tend to “float” to the top, but we’ll leave that up to your imagination.)

It’s unclear when Arizona’s ongoing budget crisis will be blamed on Canada too, as her financial projections regarding photo enforcement and photo radar have fallen far from the mark, raising less than $8 Mil. of a projected yearly $90 Million, due in part to people simply ignoring their “Notices of Violation.”

A major proponent of the statewide “enforcement” effort (and “Canada Blaming”), Napolitano was Governor from 2003 through early 2009 before resigning, ruling the State’s highways with an iron, money-scented fist (once even ordering photo vans to stretch from border-to-border).

In other news, the “other Jan,” Jan Brewer, has failed to act on the pressing issue of automated ticketing, proving that it takes bi-partisan effort to ignore the will of the people. Only 558 days until Election 2010, Jan…

    Damn it Janet

  2. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

yes… 558 days…. but when are the signatures due? until you have those .. there is nothing else!!

  3. I'm Back says:

I will refrain from any jokes about personal appearance as they are not relevant to conversations about hideous lying-rat politicians.

  4. Walter says:

She couldn’t secure the couple hundred miles of the Mexican border in AZ. What makes her think she can do anything about the 1000 or so miles of Canadian boarder?

Next she will have the entire Canadian border lined with cameras.

  5. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

its not state’s problems to secure an international border… it is a fed problem!!! where you been walter… glowin in the sun of your 13 seconds of fame?

  6. Walter says:

What’s wrong with you? If that is the price for 13 seconds of fame. I would be very happy if no one ever knew my name. I don’t want any benefit from this tragedy.

  7. Ryan says:

Those Candians with their free health care, hockey and clean living. I smell a rat!

All who were left scratching their heads when Obama chose this obedient toady to head Homeland Security now can get a handle on it: a serious appointee, focused upon real terrorist threats (not imaginary, partisan ones i.e. the TEA parties) -like, say, a Rudolph Giuliani- wouldn’t have been a willing collaborator in a sham report trashing US vets for disgraceful political purposes.

Napolitano’s qualification for this job was purely being a liberal Obama sycophant… certainly not any skills, insight, or ability.

Her recent statements on Canadian border security illustrate how incompetent and puzzled she really is- completely lacking the credentials to be in charge of protecting our country from the likes of Al Qaida.

Trouble is, narcissists like Obama need to be surrounded by mindless drones to confirm their omnipotence and, in this case, pollyanna world view. But such appointments as Napolitano and Panetta to vital national security posts are a show of weakness that will surely encourage terrorists and other rogue characters who see America as their enemy- no matter how hard Barack tries to schmooze them.

Anyone who expected The One to place the nation’s practical defense interests above those of his own political security and radical agenda hasn’t really looked at how he got this far in the first place.

Does anyonwe here know how many signatures they have collected so far?? I have e-mailed this question to camera fraud and have even signed the petition, but have no idea how many people have signed it and have had no response on this. They need to set up a ticker counter on this website to keep track of the signatures so far.🙂

  10. Joe says:

I asked the same question. The lack of an answer lies in the fact that many different people hold petitions that have yet to be “turned-in” yet.

I hope that our fearless leaders will soon start calling them in, lest they get lost by people whose resolve withers in the wind.

  11. Walter says:

I don’t think there is any real way of knowing exactly how many signatures have been collected so far. Because of how the laws regarding signature collection is written. Each person collecting signatures MUST have the forms they collect notarized themselves. So at events like NASCAR, Or the Bike Week There were a lot of signature gatherers that took the forms with them to have them notarized. It takes time to get them done. So there are tons of signatures that have been collected. But not yet turned into Camerafraud to be counted. So there is no way of telling how many are out there. I know I have turned in several hundred notarized signatures myself. And have another hundred or so I still need to get notarized.

And besides that. Why would we want to give that kind of Info out to the trolls? I prefer to keep them guessing. Let them think we are not doing very well. Get as many as you can. And when we double the number needed, The trolls will pretty much have to shut the hell up.

Janet Napolitano: First Hired, First Fired

She is fast becoming the albatross around the neck of the Obama administration.

  13. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

john you are not the first person to have asked that question with no reply….the lack of response from anybody who is “in charge” ( besides glyph and walter, who thank god are not steering the titanic that is CF) leads me to believe that while the effort has been made to gather signatures…. it is a monumental task that in reality is not going to be accomplished!! but if they told you that now..what little enthusiasm there is would be gone!! but keep pounding that pavement !!!

  14. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

sorry… walter… i dont need to guess… the number speaks for itself… 153,000 plus!! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

double the number? yea… if they give you until 2015 you may get there!!!

  15. Vince says:

Reagen….I believe this site is about cameras..Almost half of Arizona voted for Obama…I am a so called “Liberal”, and I am totally against the cameras. Please stay on subject kind sir…

  16. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

you are at the wrong site vince .. this is a pro camera site!!

  17. Vince says:

Reaagan,I also believe most of us vets understand exactky what DHS is warning about!

  18. Marbro says:

I can’t believe I voted for her. She wouldnt even be on the Obama Administration if it werent for us, “Little People” voting her into the Governor’s Office like we did.
I’m glad the old warrior vets are seeing what type of cheesey, raunchey public official Napolitano really is. She’s got alot of nerve yapping bad about Vets. She definitely forgot about us, when she became governor, thats when her ego took over. I’m surprised it isnt turning into the movie V for Vendetta.

  19. Not only that, did you catch her saying that entering the country illegally is not a crime? Unbelievable.

  20. Matt says:

It’s fitting that such a dirty politician would be so hideous like she is…

  21. Elli says:

You have to love that woman, she makes me laugh and doubt the limits of ignorance and stupidity every time I read an article about her. I often wonder how did she get in such a position? It really is a mystery to me…

  22. Skinny Ties says:

The points above are all very insightful, thanks very much.
