Montana may soon follow Mississippi’s lead

Yes folks,  yet another state seems to be passing Arizona on the road to restoring its civil liberties.  Montana may soon ban photo enforcement.

“An automated enforcement system designed to detect traffic violations that is attached to a traffic control device may not be used to enforce traffic laws,”  Montana House Bill 531 states.

  5. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

mine was a direct hit to the topic as the article mentioned peoria shutting out the cameras..

Promise me you’ll start a blog after the election and we have no more cameras in the state. I’ll drop by every so often and make a “pity” post, as you’ll be mostly alone.

If you’re so convinced that our numbers are so small (compared to those who support cameras), why don’t you organize a ballot initiative that would essentially “secure” the right of the state to put them in place? I mean, with the overwhelming numbers of people who feel the way you do , you should have no trouble gathering 150,000 signatures in a month or so.

  7. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

i prefer to let you guys do the work.. then the vote will commence and the good guys will win meaning that the cameras will stay… then i will visit this site and say my final goodbyes!!!! the pro group does not appear to be organized as of yet,,, but then why would we be,, the cameras are in place.. i am sure that once it is clear an election will take place you will see something form… i doubt the state legislature is going to take any action as they also will count on you folks to get it on the ballot!! you guys have a lot of people counting on you…. i hope for your sake that you can start getting more than 14 people per sign wave!!!!

  8. duece says:

Read the law….it says attached to a traffic control device. So mid block fixed speed and vans are still legal….

  9. Joe says:

Yes, but Law, this is for the safety of all. What about the innocent kittens that might be killed? What about the childwen? Don’t you care about wittle childwen?

  10. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

JOE.. PLEASE DONT POST AFTER AN ALL NIGHTER AT THE BAR. your post makes no sense… were you with glyph…. ?

  11. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

some more lies from helldigger!!! on the private posts that i can not reply to..

he claims that the prosectuter gets paid extra if there is a conviction…. that is an absolute LIE !! they get paid for the job they do.. and he also goes on to insinuate that the judges, since they get paid by the municipality they preside over, may also be swayed to find you guilty….. the posts are from some wacko named dave chet who was stupid enough to not know the speed limit and was in fact going 12 mph over the limit..of course now he does not want to take responsibility for his actions and its all the courts fault now…. dave.. good news for you… if you believe it long enough.. it wont be your fault at all!!!!

  12. geez says:

Which is the guy that got caught speeding through a construction zone, and got caught? Nice.. endanger lives, get caught then whine about getting caught.
    No sympathy here.

“The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) urges state and local police departments to step up their enforcement of speed limits in roadway construction zones to help reduce deaths and injuries.

Rich Wagman, 2005 chairman of ARTBA, notes that a highway worker or motorist is killed in a roadway construction zone every eight hours. He says more than 50,000 Americans are also injured in road construction zone accidents each year.”

  13. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

BUT GEEZ ITS NOT ABOUT SAFETY …RIGHT…these morons will sacrifice lives at the expense of their crusade and try to say they are patriots for the cause of freedom!!!!

where is DT.. why have we not heard from him!!!

  14. Stacey says:

DT, you have a stalker, honey.

  15. Geez, your information and stats are misleading. A majority of all injuries or fatalities at constructions sites are from contstruction vehicles, not traffic.

According to the CDC: “The most common primary sources
of injury were trucks (45%), road grading and surfacing machinery (15%), and cars (15%).”

Cars are only 15% of all injuries!

  16. Law A. Bidingcitizen says:

    you jealous stacey!!!!???

  17. Mom says:

Hey you cant stalk DT thats my job. Or have i been following him for no reason.
