I got flashed yesterday on the 101 eastbound between 83rd ave and I-10 and I was NOT speeding at all. I looked all around me and there were no other cars around so the four flashes I seen had to be directed at my car. How do I know that I wasn’t speeding? Well I noticed about 500 feet away from the cameras that there is a dip before the cameras so I made the comment to my wife that I needed to slow down to make sure that my car didn’t speed up on the downslope so that I got a ticket. I slowed my car down to 65 (Yes I was driving about 70 before I seen the cameras and downslope) I had been driving the speed limit for several seconds before the cameras all decided to snap. Since I was initially driving under the 11 miles per hour that they supoosedly give you and slowed down well before the cameras snapped my picture I know that there is an issue with the cameras and to be honest I am extremely upset about this so called safety SCAM!
Sometimes they flash and no ticket results. I’ve been flashed 3 times and no ticket has ever shown up.
I’d like to subpeona the data on how often the cameras get triggered for speed situations below the programmed limit. If 75% of photo recordings are being tossed, what % of them involve them being triggered when the car is not speeding? That would probably speak to the poor relaiabilty of the cameras.

I meant to say I-17 and not I-10

Shouldn’t have to subpoena the data, it should be a matter of public record.
